My stay at the Intercontinental Dublin was a mix of positives and some areas needing improvement. The hotel itself was beautiful, and the staff were friendly, but I encountered issues that felt out of place for a five-star hotel. While my room was comfortable and well-appointed, the breakfast experience fell short of my expectations and overall service was a bit chaotic.

Rooms

I really appreciated the contemporary design of my room. it was spacious and came with a lovely seating area. However, our air conditioning unit had some issues, leading to water leakage during the night.
Service
7.0
The staff were generally helpful and friendly. though the initial reception lacked the warmth expected at a five-star hotel. A more attentive approach, especially during breakfast service, would have enhanced the experience significantly.
Location

The hotel is situated in a quiet area, slightly removed from the downtown hustle, which I found relaxing. but it’s not particularly close to many dining options or attractions.
Dining

I had high hopes for the breakfast and dinner, but both fell flat. The breakfast buffet was chaotic, with slow service and cold food, and my dinner was overcooked and not worth the price.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offered standard facilities that were suitable. however, the outdated gym equipment did not meet my expectations for a hotel of this caliber.

While I loved the beautiful decor and spacious room, there were a couple of minor issues, like some parking difficulties and a blocked shower. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I can't wait to return for another visit.

However, the cleanliness in my room wasn't up to par, and the shower's water pressure was disappointing. but the spaciousness of the rooms and quality of breakfast made up for some of those issues.
